About Dr Chang

Dr Alice Chang is an orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in foot and ankle surgeries. She also has a subspecialty interest in hand and trauma surgeries. Dr Chang graduated from the University of Sydney Medical School in 2008. She underwent rigorous training at various hospitals throughout NSW and ACT between 2013 and 2018. She obtained her FRACS in orthopaedic surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, and her FAOrthA from Australian Orthopedic Association in 2018. Subsequently, she completed her subspecialty training and obtained her fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Dr Chang is a dedicated orthopaedic surgeon who endeavors to provide superlative care for her patients. She strives to be up to date with the latest clinical evidence and surgical techniques to allow her to individualize and optimize care for her patients and ensure the best patient outcomes. Dr Chang has a strong commitment to education and is a clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney Medical School. She is not only involved with teaching medical students but the junior surgeons as well.

Dr Chang is an active member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Australian Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Association, Australian Society of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Australian Medical Association and Australian Chinese Medical Association. She is a committee member of Australian Orthopaedic Association NSW Branch.

Dr Chang is fluent in Mandarin, and Hokkien in addition to English.
